Easter Dinner

We ended up not making the pitas as we went to several stores searching for non-non-stick cooling racks to bake them on to no avail.  It turned out to be a good thing, because while G made it to the third course I did not.  I even gave myself smaller portions of everything except asparagus, but it was a lot of food.  G gave it 2 big thumbs up, and is going to be making his co-workers jealous with leftovers tomorrow!

The birthday cake was a chocolate peanut butter cake (made with both melted chocolate frosting and peanut butter frosting!).  The two frostings mixed together tasted exactly like a reese's peanut butter egg, so G was thrilled!

How did your weekend go?

  2. Looks like a lovely dinner! We had a pretty good Easter dinner too (at my in-laws so I didn't even have to make it!) and we did the first of my daughter's birthday parties. She had fun doing egg hunts and opening birthday presents so it was a fun weekend!
