Procrastinator

Lest you think I'm a super wife, let me tell you....I am a procrastinator extraordinaire.  I'm pretty sure I even have a certification around here somewhere.  So yes, my friend will be here tomorrow and yes, I still have to paint the bathroom.  And sweep, mop, bake, scrub, vacuum, iron, fluff, etc, etc.
And I don't mind.  Not in the least.  I procrastinate because I found I work better under pressure.  It's how I am, and usually it turns out okay.  I do usually go a little overboard on my to do list, but it's because I enjoy having the people I love around me and I want it to be a good time.

So if I seem a bit harried, eh, whatever.  I'm making my home a place to relax, and since I'm an overachiever that takes time.  But hopefully by the end of this crazy, crazy week I will have many wonderful experiences and a photo or two to show you!

  1. It doesn't matter what got done and what didn't - a true friend looks past all of that and loves you anyway. Enjoy your much deserved week of fun and fellowship with your bestest friend.

    Love you bunches,

  2. I can totally relate. My in-laws visited last week, and I was up until three am cleaning the night before the arrived. I finished just moments before they walked through the door. :) Oh, procrastination at it's best.

I'm a new reader, by the way! Nice to "meet" you!

  3. Ha! Can I be the first one to give you an award?! Then you can give me one too. Oh my, one of my 'expertise' is procrastinating. Really I can't think if I don't have that last minute pressure. Anyway, I understand you. You will have a great time at the end of the day even if your feet hurts like crazy. Enjoy your time with your bestie!!!

  4. You are NOT a procrastinator!!! You just thrive on chaos...

  5. You may call me the princess of procrastination. I, too, work better under pressure but then I crash and burn. I'm trying to retrain myself in this regard but I'm a work in progress.
