St. Patrick's Day Chic

I met up with a friend for coffee* this afternoon and wanted to quickly throw together an outfit that would be me, but also have green.  So on went dark jeans, a black tee, and then I accessorized with my green and black hounds tooth scarf and a j.crew pearl necklace wrapped 4 times around my wrist.  I'm picking up a simple little camera tomorrow while I continue researching Nikon's.  Hopefully that means I'll be doing a lot more fashion photos on here.

I did some thinking these last few days.  I am going to try and truly take these 6 months as an opportunity to work on me.  Weight loss, toning up, cooking skills (because I still have tons to learn), French fluency, reading, painting, etc.  I want G to come home to a brand new wife.  A version of me he loves, only he usually gets it only in small doses.  And I'll be chronicling all on here.

So, from haircuts to clearing out a closet for an essential wardrobe to maybe finally doing a cooking vlog (thanks to G's handy dandy tripod) to eventually later this summer taking you along on my journey as I invest in some nice lingerie (there is a boutique in D.C. that I plan to interview the French owner and get his opinion on styles, etc).  I want to help others do what this blog has helped me with, finding my true chic self and sticking to it, learning to stop apologizing for being who I am.  So I'll also be doing some questions and answers.  I want these 6 months to be about me, you, every woman (or person, really) who is in a slump and trying to find their way back to themselves.

So, if you have questions, feel free to e-mail or leave a comment on here if you feel comfortable.  If you want to cook more, but are unsure where to start, that's coming up too!  I have met so many amazing people through this blogging community and so please, don't be shy!
