A friend was ill this weekend, so I was over there making chicken noodle soup for her and I also picked up some peppermint and chamomile teas... neither of which I had ever tried. But I've found that peppermint tea, while a stomach aid, also is deliciously refreshing. Hot or cold it leaves a great aftertaste. And as it's caffeine free it's the perfect solution for me when I want a hot drink, but can't overload on tea or coffee.
Do you have a favorite non-tea tea?
I love Twining's camomile & spearmint. It's a really nice combo and gives a very light feeling of peppermint tea. I actually got peppermint tea today.

They are both great for relaxing and calming down. I drink mint tea after a particularly grueling day.
ReplyDeleteAlso a chamomile steam is the best thing for cleansing a problematic skin. It opens up the pores and gently disinfects. It's one of my fave beauty regimens.
I love peppermint tea and usually after dinner. Also, I like the chamomile but it just gets darn expensive buying two:)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Trader Joe's peppermint tea with honey it in. It's great hot or cold, and I love that it's caffeine free but still so refreshing!
ReplyDeletePeppermint is great, but so is licorice tea! So nice for a tummy ache. Twinings also has a blackcurrant tea that makes the best summer iced tea.
