Hotness

So G is a pretty good looking guy.  I can say that, because if we are being completely honest here, I didn't always think so.  When we were best friends when we were younger, one of the reasons I didn't want to date him was because I wasn't attracted to him.  Silly, I know.  Now there are times when he's walking around the house shirtless and I think, damn I got lucky.  As someone just recently pointed out to him he has the perfect suit body.  Long and lean, with the inverted triangle look.  Yumminess, but I may be a bit biased.

So I should also point out that G didn't give a rat's ass about fashion when we first began our friendship.  It was bad enough that 4 1/2 years later, when we decided to try dating when he came home from tech school, one of the first things I said to him was that we were going shopping, because what was okay as a friend was not okay as a boyfriend.  And he was even a bit excited.  All of his clothes were too big, and he admitted that while he had never cared before, he did want to dress better.  That meant bye bye to the old tees.  And the dad pants went out the window never to be seen again.  But even in those beginning days he was very against any worn-ness on the jeans, and stuck to the basics.  A year and a half later, he was a bit more bold and chose a black and magenta striped button up for the Christmas party.  I should have seen the signs, but I think I just thought he was having fun.  Never did I think he would become as interested in how he dressed as I am.

There.  I've admitted it.  My husband is now picking up fashion vocabulary quite easily, and is interested in looking good.  Damn good, to be exact.  And he's even fallen in love with some items of clothing, which perhaps should make me jealous.  Eh.

What exactly has he fallen in love with?  Well, due to the fact that a few members of his family read this, I think I will keep away from specifics, and just say a leather jacket.  A very nice, soft as butter (literally the softest leather I have ever massaged, and I might have massaged it on him) leather jacket.  So why am I telling you all of this?  Because G very much wants this piece of clothing.  But I thought I would ask for opinions on how he looks in it (the store people were ever so generous in letting us photograph him in it) and if you want to send a few compliments his way I won't stop you.  He does still have confidence issues at times, and has trouble believing me when I tell him he's good looking.  Boys!
So, what do you think? And also, as G tends to wear more blues/blacks/greys do you think they would work with it?  I think because it's such a natural cowhide color that he could even wear a black tee with it.  Please comment!

  2. HAHAHAHA! You said "dad jeans"! I'm glad they're gone (and I've gotten rid of Bill's too).
Tell my brother the jacket is cute and looks good. BUY IT! (and he should call sometime)

  3. LOVE the coat! I love that it's not one of the classic "neutral colours" (black, navy, karki, ivory), as he can wear any of those colours under it, and not have to go out and get a new wardrobe of tops in brighter colours to wear under it.

I'm not making much sense - but short answer is LOVE the jacket, and that guy you have found yourself in it is pretty cute too!
