Natural Solutions Week

I've become more and more conscious of what I use in my home and on my body over the last few years.  It started with my skin getting so dry, and having a constantly severely dry scalp, and realizing that the Sodium Laureth and Sodium Lauryl Sulfates were not helping, so I switched our shampoos to "natural" or organic ones.  We use a lot of Burt's Bees, Alba, Seventh Generation and Method products, and love them all!  But I was curious as to what else was out there, so I went searching.

This week is going to be a whirlwind, something I have been planning, working on, and getting excited about for weeks!  We are going to be talking about natural products, from cleaning the house to cleaning you!  There is going to be reviews aplenty, and a giveaway as well!  This is something I feel very passionate about (in fact G says I won't shut up about some of the products I tried), and I have been chomping at the bit to get this week started.

But first, I have a question for my lovely readers:  Natural products, love them or hate them?  If you hate them, I guarantee this week might just change your mind!

  1. I so love them and want to use more! We have been trying a few at a time but since they also can be more expensive I have not been able to jump in and do everything. We try one and see how it works and if we like it we get it again. But with some cleaning products it takes FOREVER to use up the old stuff! I am excited for your natural week!!

  2. I love natural products and wish that I could afford to buy more of them! =) I can't wait to see what all you say this! So excited! And I'm very interested to hear what you say about your scalp. I have the same problem! Grr...

  3. I never really paid much attention to them until the last 12 months....but now I am slowly and increasingly looking at natural and organic products for everything I can. I started with food - but ever since your post on using baking powder as a scourer and cleaner (I actually didn't believe you that it would work....till I tried it!) I have been looking at cleaning products too..... I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say this week!

  4. I love them but do admit that I am addicted to Clorox Clean-up. The only natural product that I have tried in its place was a 365 all purpose cleaner and it didn't work nearly as well. I actually had to SCRUB the ring in the bathtub...quel horror!! But maybe I'll try the Seventh Generation next. I do love Seventh's laundry powder. I have sensitive skin and with the free and clear I don't have to worry about skin irritations.
