Aspirin

Tracey (La Belette Rouge) mentioned on facebook last month about an aspirin mask.  She was kind enough to give me the link to the recipe she uses.  And then while I bought some aspirin before G left, today was the first day I decided to go ahead and give it a try.

I mixed the 3 aspirin with a few drops of water (next time I'll be trying it with either honey or yogurt, as Tracey suggested), then applied it and let it sit for about 10 minutes.  Rinsed off and applied a moisturizer.  I'm going to attempt to make every Friday night/Saturday morning my time for pampering.  I've heard great things about this mask making the skin baby soft and even helping reduce redness, so I will keep you guys up to date if I continue to love it.  I'm definitely loving it today.  Skin is super soft and smooth.

Have you ever tried any homemade treatments for your face or body?  Do share!

  2. I've mixed oatmeal with yogurt for a mask. I haven't tried an aspirin mask, but I may try crunchycon's method of washing with honey. I have a huge bottle of it from my in-law's that I can't eat, and this would be an efficient way of using it up!
