Wandering

Make-up less and rockin' it!

G took today off to deal with car stuff, which ended up not taking too long.  Our day ended up being one where it just went along on no particular plan.

From coffee at our local cafe, then on to lunch at our Indian place, and then we moseyed on down to an art museum, taking our time exploring a couple parks along the way.  Nora was completely fascinated by the sculptures and our local fountains.

I love days like this.  Where it's all just a wandering adventure.  After the museum we sat at a table in the park until rain began to fall.  Nora and I took cover under an awning of a local building while G ran for the car.  I held my hand out, singing in French about rain falling, calming her about something that freaked her out.

Tonight we're lying about, after being sated by a dinner of leek and potato soup with roasted chicken on top of salad.  Today was a good day.  Simple pleasures.
